When you began writing a teacher resume, highlight the skills and attributes that you possess. A good teacher's resume should give a complete picture of the professional, educational qualification of the candidate. The resume helps an employer to choose the right candidate for a personal interview. The resume for teacher has to give detail information about the teacher's education, work experience, and the qualities that make you unique than other candidates. - At the top of the resume, the candidate has to give information about his or her identity. The details that need to be included are full name, address, phone number, email address.
- The candidate has to write a career objective that briefly describes the career goals and skills of the candidate. The passion about teaching has to come out from a short and attractive objective. "To carve a niche in the field of academics with special regard to English language teaching" can be an example of a career objective of an English teacher.
- In the next category of the resume you need to mention about your work experience. For that start from the most recent job and move backwards. You have to give names of schools, college where you have taught and what subjects have you dealt in. The tenure at each of the educational institute has to be mentioned. Take a look at this example:

- In the category "special achievements", the candidate should mention the achievements, rewards that he/she was bestowed on. This can include "The Best Teacher Award", "Successful implementation of teaching methodology in a language classroom" and so on.
- In the last section of resume, you can deal with "Special Interests". You can include your voluntary work with social organizations, membership in various teaching association, working in various committees in school/college.
